Cather Circle

Cather Circle is a women's mentoring and networking program dedicated to advancing personal and professional achievement. Student and alumni members meet twice each year to hear speakers and panels and to engage in discussions and activities. Click here for more information.
All Stressed Out And Nowhere To Study

Each Monday and Tuesday of finals weeks, the Wick Alumni Center’s Great Hall is converted into a study hall. Snacks and solace are provided free of charge to all NU students.
The Nebraska Alumni Association offers the Nebraska Ring to alumni and students who have obtained at least 52 credit hours. The design was created by a student committee to reflect the traditions of NU and will not change, making it a recognizable symbol over time. Learn more about the Nebraska Ring and purchase your own
Senior Sendoff
Senior Sendoff is a graduation celebration held each spring for all NU seniors. Guests enjoy a free dinner and drinks and have the opportunity to learn how to stay connected to their alma mater through membership in the Nebraska Alumni Association.

The Nebraska Alumni Association gives thousands of dollars in scholarships and awards to outstanding undergraduate and graduate students throughout the year. The Student Alumni Association also distributes grants to various student organizations twice each year to enable the groups to sponsor programs and events intended to improve the climate of diversity on campus or to enhance student life in another meaningful way.
The Scarlet and Cream Singers, the university’s official “Ambassadors of Goodwill,” have been delighting audiences throughout the state of Nebraska and beyond for 35 years. With 16 singers, a small instrumental combo and two sound-and-lighting technicians, the Scarlet and Cream Singers (all full-time university students) share their special brand of music, showmanship and humor in more than 50 annual performances. Huskers Away From Home is a program that matches out-of-state freshmen with local alumni host "families" to give the students a friendly and supportive contact in Lincoln. Host families and their students may schedule get-togethers based on their own time and personal interests at a minimum of twice per semester. Get-togethers are at the expense of the hosts. Huskers Away From Home is sponsored by the Office for Undergraduate Studies and coordinated by the Nebraska Alumni Association. Click here for more information.
