Singers
Jill_Ablott Jill Ablott, a graduate of Hastings High School, is the daughter of Doug and Deb Ablott. A freshman majoring in elementary education, Jill is a first-year member of Scarlet and Cream.
 
Alex_Allison Alex Allison, the son of Brian and Janet Allison, is a graduate of Pius X High School in Lincoln. A freshman and first-year member of Scarlet and Cream, Alex is majoring in architecture.
 
Michael_Andersen Michael Andersen, a fifth-year member of the group, is a senior majoring in film studies. The son of Kirby and Ronda Andersen, Michael is a graduate of Kearney High School, and also serves as one of Scarlet and Cream’s dance captains.
 
Benjamin_Baldwin Benjamin Baldwin, the son of Byron and Mary Baldwin, is a junior majoring in construction management. A graduate of Papillion/La Vista South High School, Ben is a third-year member of Scarlet and Cream, is on the Engineering College Student Advisory Board, and is active in Delta Tau Delta fraternity.
 
Parker_Bender Parker Bender, originally from Stanton, is a graduate of Humphrey St. Francis and a third-year percussionist for Scarlet and Cream. An engineering major, Parker is the son of Tim and Kim Bender
 
Danial_Butler Danial Butler, a sophomore studying music education, is the son of Merry and David Butler. A graduate of Kearney High School, Dan is also an accomplished guitar/bass player and a second-year member of Scarlet and Cream.
 
Steve_Cain Steve Cain, a freshman from Dakota City, is a graduate of South Sioux City High School and is majoring in mathematics. The son of Robert and Marion Cain, Steven is a first-year member of Scarlet and Cream and also is involved with Men’s Chorus.
 
Kinsey_Cole Kinsey Cole, a graduate of Lincoln East High School, is a fourth-year member of Scarlet and Cream and serves as the group’s student musical director. The daughter of Gary and Jane Hustad, Kinsey married Jason Cole in August 2007. She is a senior majoring in music education and is involved in University Singers.
 
Mallory_Cox Mallory Cox, a junior majoring in family science, is the daughter of Jeffrey and Cheryl Cox. A graduate of Holdrege High School, Mallory is enjoying her second year as a member of Scarlet and Cream.
 
Morgan_Demmel Morgan Demmel, a graduate of Fairview High School in Lafayette, Colo., is a freshman majoring in broadcast journalism. The daughter of Doug and Karen Demmel, Morgan is a first-year member of Scarlet and Cream and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority
 
Summer_Froehlich Summer Froehlich, the daughter of Monte and Lisa Froehlich, is a second-year member of Scarlet Cream and serves as one of their dance captains. A sophomore majoring in pre-nursing, Summer is a graduate of Lincoln East High School and also a member of Chi Omega sorority.
 
Melissa_Hobbs Melissa Hobbs, the daughter of Dr. Richard and Lori Reiner and Kent and Jincy Hobbs, is a junior majoring in psychology. A second-year member of Scarlet and Cream, Melissa is a graduate of Holdrege High School and is also involved with Chi Omega sorority, Student Alumni Association, New Student Enrollment and Psi Chi psychology national honor fraternity.
 
Drew_Peterson Drew Peterson, a junior majoring in business administration, is a first-year member of Scarlet and Cream. A graduate of Millard West High School, Drew is the son of Jerry and Terry Peterson.
 
Lee_Running Lee Running, a second-year member of Scarlet and Cream, is a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Sioux Falls, S.D. A sophomore majoring in industrial management engineering, Lee is the son of Joel and Lois Running.
 
Abi_Shelbourn Abi Shelbourn, a sophomore majoring in social science education, is a graduate of Lincoln Southeast High School. A second-year member of Scarlet and Cream, Abi, the daughter of Jimmy and Carol Shelbourn.
 
Tia_Troester Tia Troester, the daughter of Cynthia Troester and Kim Keister and Ron Troester, is a junior majoring in communication studies. A first-year member of Scarlet and Cream, Tia, a graduate of Grand Island Senior High School, has been involved with Big Red Singers and has served as a mentor for the NU Connections program.
 
Corey_Wallroff Corey Wallroff, a graduate of East Butler High School in Brainard, is a freshman and a first-year member of Scarlet and Cream. The son of John and Becky Wallroff, Corey, an accomplished guitarist and percussionist, is majoring in athletic training.
 
 
Technicians
Paden_Bender Paden Bender, the son of Tim and Kim Bender, is a graduate of Humphrey High School. Originally from Stanton, Paden is a freshman majoring in business administration and pre-law and serves as one of Scarlet and Cream’s sound-and-lighting technicians.  
Nate_Mares Nate Mares, a graduate of Lincoln Southeast High School, serves as one of Scarlet and Cream’s sound-and-lighting technicians. The son of David and Janet Mares, Nate is a junior majoring in film and new media and a second-year member of the ensemble.  
 
Staff
Pam_Penner Pam Penner, a member of the staff at the Nebraska Alumni Association, provides office support and other assistance for the Scarlet and Cream Singers. Additionally, Pam works with the director of chapter and legislative relations, volunteer programs and other special events. An organist at Eastridge Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, Pam holds a bachelor of music degree from UNL.  
Jon_Ranard Jon Ranard, originally from Grand Island, is in his fourth year as the director of Scarlet and Cream. Experience in the Lincoln Public Schools and as the assistant director of Purdue Musical Organizations at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., has afforded Jon additional opportunities in many areas. Jon continues to arrange vocal and instrumental charts for ensembles throughout the country. While a student at the University of Nebraska, Jon was a member of Scarlet and Cream from 1983-87.
