The Nebraska Ring is more than just a piece of jewelry. It also symbolizes the growth and achievements of a student on track to graduate. The Alumni Association recognizes this importance and will not simply deliver the ring in a FedEx box to your house.A special ring ceremony is held every semester to distribute the new rings. The 2007 ceremony will be April 20 at the Wick Alumni Center. The 2006 ceremony included remarks from former Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs James Griesen, the presentation of the “Spirit of Nebraska” rings to Kelly Irby and Annie Magnusson, as well as the presentation of student rings.
