RED Gala, entering its fourth year, has raised more than $100,000 and awarded scholarships to six Nebraska high school graduates to assist them in realizing their educational dreams at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.  The 2008 event will be held on Friday, January 18 at the Omaha Hilton.

The evening features a fine dining experience including a dessert buffet, silent and live auctions, recognition of the RED Scholars for 2008, presentation of the Founders’ Medallion Award to Tom Osborne and awards to an Omaha area educator, to a Nebraska business that has faithfully supported UNL and to an outstanding undergraduate at UNL.  This year we have added an optional VIP cocktail reception with Tom Osborne, the other award winners and dignitaries.
