Memberships in the Nebraska Champions Club are all sold. In response to numerous queries, waiting list guidelines have been developed for buyers and sellers of club memberships.
There are three cumulative levels for buyers:
- Entry Level, which requires a prospective member to be a life member of the Nebraska Alumni Association;
- Priority Level, which additionally requires a prospective member to maintain annual contributions at the Hail Varsity level; and
- Advanced Priority Level, which additionally requires either membership in the association's 1874 Society or an already existing membership in the Champions Club.
If an existing member requests assistance from us in selling their membership via our waiting list, letters will first be sent to advanced priority level prospects with instructions to contact the buyer to discuss purchasing the balance of the lease. If no one at this level is interested in buying, prospective members in categories 2 and 1 will be contacted in the same manner. This process is available to sellers who are Hail Varsity Level donors in the association's sustaining life program, or who join as a life member of the association if not already a life member. Any outside sales or transfers must be approved by the Nebraska Alumni Association prior to the transaction with a written form available through the association.
