California Celebrates UNL

The alumni association was proud to offer our alumni and friends in California an inside look at the latest happenings at the University of Nebraska. A crowd of over 400 spent "A Night with Nebraska" Feb. 10, 2011, at the Hyatt Regency in Irvine.
 
Alumni, fans and friends heard firsthand from UNL Chancellor Harvey Perlman and Athletic Director Tom Osborne about the latest academic and athletic news and our move to the Big Ten, as well as future plans for the University. The crowd also watched a video message from football coach Bo Pelini and heard from former Husker Tommie Frazier, while emcee Matt Davison kept things running smoothly and even provided a little comic relief. Those in attendance also enjoyed "Taste of Nebraska" foods provided by Valentino’s and Runza.
