1874 Society dots
From its beginning in 1869 the university has made a distinctive impact on the lives of Nebraskans and the nation. Since 1874, alumni have had a substantive effect on the university. In addition to helping fund the stadium and student union, they bought the university’s first pipe organ, built the Wick Alumni Center and the Nebraska Champions Club, restored the original campus bell, and revived many campus traditions.

Today, without state or university funding the association continues to support UNL by keeping alumni in touch with one another and the university through scholarship funding, programming, networking, mentoring, advocacy and recruitment and recognition programs.

Your support counts. The association is a leader in making alumni voices – your voice – count on campus. That’s important because your degree is only as strong as the reputation of your university. Dedicating 1874 Society dues to the Alumni Endowment Trust will secure the future vision, mission and core values of the alumni association.

Membership has its privileges.
As an 1874 Society Member you will enjoy prominent recognition on the Life Endowment Wall. Additionally, you will have access to two season football tickets and four Nebraska Champions Club guest passes when available.

The 1874 Founding Members invite you to join them at this highest level of membership with your generous contribution of $18,740 either paid in full or over five years ($3,748 per year). 1874 Society Membership dues are 100 percent tax-deductible.
