Acceptable Art Formats

The NAA only accepts advertising in digital formats.  Make sure all ads are in CMYK mode. If using spot color, be sure to save channels in the proper format. Include all art and fonts when required.

• Preferred format is .PDF or .EPS or .TIF
• Minimum resolution of 300 dpi is required, 1200 dpi on monochrome.
• Call ahead if submitting ads in InDesign or Quark native files to verify compatibility. Be sure to include all font and graphic files when doing so.
• Zip and Stuffit compressed files are preferred when e-mailing native files with source images and fonts.
• Compress text line art
• Crop image data to frames
• No color conversion
• Do not include profiles

All digital ads must be sent on CD with all photos, art and fonts included. Ads may also be
e-mailed to awashburn@unlalum.nebraska.edu. Call to certify that artwork has been received
by the deadline.
