As associate director for student programs, Jenny Green serves as adviser for Scarlet Guard (formerly known as Student Alumni Association) and oversees all UNL student programs. She also plans Husker Huddles, the alumni association's Homecoming events and Football Fridays.

Green joined the Nebraska Alumni Association staff in 2009 as the assistant program director. Previously, she worked in Naples, Fla., as the manager of operations for The Academy for Athletes, a life skills development program for the NFL and other professional organizations.

A native of Grand Island, Neb., Green graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2007 with a degree in advertising. As an undergraduate, Green held internships at the Nebraska Alumni Association and Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center. Green was a member of Nebraska's track & field team and was a two-time Academic All-American, a four-time Big 12 Conference Pole Vault Champion and the 2004 Big 12 Freshman of the Year.
